This NY Strip converted my husband from a ribeye-only guy. The wagyu beef flavor is pronounced but not overpowering, with that signature richness you expect. Seared it in cast iron, finished in the oven - restaurant quality at home.
Best steak ive ever had.
If you haven't tried PH Prime's Wagyu, you're missing out. This Manhattan strip has this incredible fat content that renders down and creates the most amazing flavor. I grilled it simply over charcoal with just coarse salt. Sliced it thin and served with chimichurri. My neighbors smelled it cooking and came over. Everyone was blown away.
This Manhattan strip is outstanding. The Grade 6-7 marbling is evident in every bite. I cooked mine sous vide at 130° for 2 hours, then gave it a quick torch sear. Perfect edge-to-edge medium-rare with an incredible crust. Can't recommend PH Prime enough for quality Wagyu.
Cooked this for our anniversary and it was perfection. Used the reverse sear method at 225°F until 120° internal, then seared in cast iron with butter. The marbling rendered beautifully, creating the most tender, flavorful steak I've ever made at home. My wife said it beat any steakhouse we've been to. The packaging was incredible too - arrived with plenty of dry ice, still completely frozen after 2 days in transit from South Dakota to New Jersey. Will be ordering regularly from now on.
Really good Manhattan strip with nice Wagyu marbling. Cooked it hot and fast to medium-rare. The flavor is intense and beefy. Only four stars because one of the two steaks had a slightly uneven thickness. Still excellent quality and I'd order again.
